Our story
MOO BOU was set up by our owner and CEO, Jen, nearly 15 years ago. Jen not only has an eye for fashion but she is a champion for women supporting women.
After studying fashion and textiles, Jen got caught up in (a very successful) career in the corporate world but she always knew she wanted to do the thing that she was most passionate about – fashion and how it can make you feel.
So in 2008 Jen took the leap, sold everything she had and opened her shop in Heaton Moor.
It’s not always been easy but by putting one foot in front of the other, Jen realised her dream.
MOO BOU has an amazing local community around the South Manchester store and now we look to bringing that to more amazing women online — making fashion fun, cool and a little bit crazy.
Our ethos
As much as fashion is our passion at MOO BOU, we’re about more than just clothes. We’re about the freedom and confidence to wear the clothes that feel like you.
We know that life sometimes throws us off track and we can lose a sense of what to wear to make us feel good, whether that’s being a new mum, changing body shape or entering a new phase of life.
